Composer Bio
From the heart of Harlem to the prestigious stages and screens around the world, Dominique Luis, a Harlem-born composer, producer, and sound designer, is rapidly emerging as one of the most versatile voices of his generation, blending the grit of New York with the sweeping elegance of orchestral arrangement.
As the visionary behind DreamWolf Projects, Dominique has developed a “polyglot" musical language early on. This is a direct reflection of his heritage, fusing his father’s legacy as an A&R executive with his mother’s vibrant Caribbean and Spanish roots. The result is a signature sound where Hip-Hop, R&B, and African rhythms collide with cinematic elements.
With over 35 projects under his belt, including the Amazon Prime hit #LoveMyRoomie and the Apollo Theater’s acclaimed Snakehips In Our DNA exhibition, He is currently hitting a career crescendo. After a powerful 2025 headlined by the David Bryant documentary 42 Years For Nothing and a landmark collaboration with Emmy-nominee Dui Jarrod in late 2025, Dominique enters 2026 with an ambitious slate of three new films and musical projects, further cementing his reputation as the go-to collaborator for filmmakers and artists looking to tell stories through sound.
